Drew McIntyre looks back at his rivalry with Brock Lesnar

On the Reality of Wrestling podcast, Drew McIntyre looks back on this rivalry. He feels this rivalry paved the way for the champion he is now and in the future.

“Ya I mean I would like an opportunity to get into the ring with Brock Lesnar. But that match really cemented the tone of the champion I am going to be going forward, and the whole build-up going into the match. I owned Brock all the way through that feud which is very unusual. Usually, Brock would beat up his opponent all the way in the feud and he would win generally or maybe his opponent would low blow him and slip on him after 20 minutes. I dominated in the match, I kicked out of the F-5 and beat him in under five minutes. That Brock match told the world the type of champion and monster I was going to be.”
