Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins were involved in a heated feud in 2019. Rollins, who had won the Royal Rumble match that year, was due to face Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 for the WWE Universal Championship. In the buildup, Rollins called out ‘The Beast’ for his part-timer gig and had a lot of interesting things to say about him.

WWE built the match around Lesnar’s part-time status and how he wasn’t always on the weekly shows. Rollins was portrayed as the ever-present company man. A few weeks before his match at WrestleMania, rumors were swirling about Lesnar returning to the UFC.

“I’ll Make It Work”: Brock Lesnar Put Dana White and UFC on the Spot Over an Unbelievable First-time-ever Situation

The first-ever NXT champion was clever enough to realize that facing the former UFC Champion in an MMA fight was a different thing.

‘The Visionary’ Rollins did slay ‘The Beast’ in the opening match of WrestleMania 35 to capture the Universal title. Before the match, Lesnar beat down his opponent and looked set to annihilate him.

But Rollins hit a low blow and then won the match after multiple Stomps. He also beat Lesnar in their second match of the year at SummerSlam 2019 in Toronto.

In 2018, Daniel Cormier beat Stipe Miocic to win the Heavyweight Championship at UFC 226. After his victory, Cormier demanded Lesnar, who was in attendance, enter the ring.

‘DC’ called out Lesnar saying, “There’s a guy that I’ve known for a long time. He’s a wrestler. He’s an All-American.  A former UFC champion. I never thought I would fight him, but Brock Lesnar, get your ass in here.”

Lesnar made his way inside the octagon and past several people. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion shoved Cormier, who stumbled backward. The two began jawing and had to be separated by UFC personnel and trainers.
