He is ready to face the ‘Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns at SoFi stadium, California for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania. Rhodes started his career in 2006, but since then, it is the first time he is main-eventing WWE WrestleMania. He won this year’s Royal Rumble and grabbed that opportunity. Currently, every wrestling fan is appreciating Rhodes. But, he is giving the entire credit to his wife Brandi Rhodes.

Rhodes reveals a special wish for his wife

Recently, Cody Rhodes appeared in an interview with ‘Wrestling Joy’. The ‘American Nightmare’ said that Brandi has not wrestled since she left her previous company. So he wants her to have a WrestleMania moment. He directly cleared that it was not a hint of her WrestleMania appearance, instead, he just wants her to enjoy the biggest event of 2023 with the best fandom around the world.

Rhodes said, “I just can’t wait to see her out you know….she hasn’t been to wrestling, she hasn’t been since she left it. I am excited for her to get her moments in a sense and just be out there…..and being around fans Sports entertainment WWE wrestling it’s the best fans in the world.”

He continued, it’s like to not just be at a WrestleMania but to take a walk you know and I’m she’s not doing anything at WrestleMania that’s not what I’m saying. I’m just saying I’m so excited for her to be there and I couldn’t be there without her.”

Cody Rhodes talks about his wife’s impact on his career

During the interview, a moment came when the host asked Cody about his wife’s impact on his wrestling career. To this, ‘The American Nightmare’ unhesitantly replied that he couldn’t have done anything without Brandi Rhodes. He said that the main reason behind his success is the selfless decision that his wife made almost a year ago.

Apart From His In-Ring Performances, This Special Attribute of Cody Rhodes Is Cementing His Place as a WWE “Main-Eventer”

Talking about his wife, Cody Rhodes said, “I don’t get the opportunity to be a free agent unless Brandi Rhodes makes a certain decision that she made that was a selfless decision so when you see me out there and I say hey I couldn’t do it without Brandi, I ain’t lying. That’s a hundred per cent.”

Rhodes also took a moment to acknowledge Brandi’s contribution to the wrestling industry. He also mentioned that she didn’t get enough credit for her contributions. Rhodes even said that there are several things that his wife has done but he got the credit for that instead.

But now due to his wife’s selfless decision, he is one step away from completing his story of becoming the WWE Champion.
