The main event of the night featured Sami Zayn going up against Roman Reigns in front of the Canadian wrestler’s family. As Reigns had sworn earlier, he made Zayn’s family watch as he was brutally destroying him. However, the match was filled with many twists and turns. In fact, Zayn even managed to pin the Universal WWE Champion. However, since the official wasn’t conscious, it couldn’t be considered as a win. Despite everything, Zayn’s performance was impeccable. The way the fight ended actually left a lot of people wanting more.

What does Ric Flair think of Sami Zayn?
Although the WWE legend has acknowledged the fight and its future prospect, he doesn’t seem to think too well of it. In turn, he states the reason. According to him, it might lead to a three-way fight in the future, but it might not be as “meaningful” as it needs to be. Flair was asked in a podcast posted on his official YouTube channel, “did you expect it to turn into a threeway? Do you think it becomes a tag affair now with the Usos and Kevin Owens?”

The former wrestling star loves the prospect it holds. He has seen great three-way matches in all his life. However, according to him, “it’s not nearly as meaningful, especially if in a threeway the champion doesn’t get beat.” It appears as though the legend himself sees how Reigns profits the company. Due to this, it is very unlikely for him to face defeat unless something major happens.

‘Slick Ric’ did not hesitate one moment to talk about what he thinks of Zayn’s opponent. Although Flair did not undermine the Battery Man’s effort or talent, he surely thinks highly of Reigns. When asked about what the future might hold, he said, “it’s gonna be Roman and Cody.” The fans have been looking forward to a fight between the two superstars.
