In an episode of INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Rae sat down to talk about multiple aspects of her life in the WWE. During this, he mentioned that Stephanie is known as the ‘Slap Queen’ in the WWE. She is known to slap wrestlers around, and there’s always a reaction from the crowd when it happens. Rae confirmed the title and gave a good example of why she is the legit Slap Queen.

She went on to talk about the incident with the Big Show. “She’ll slap you in the ear; she slapped Big Show in the ear,” she said. This was about the October 7th episode of RAW in 2013. This was during the feud between The Authority and Show. After belittling Show for attacking officials, she slapped him hard. Rae said that if Show was ever in Vliet’s interview, he should ask him about the slap.

Concluding the segment, she talked about how Stephine aimed for the ear when she slapped Show. “She’s the slap Queen but it’s wild,” she said, concluding the segment. Stephanie is notorious for slapping wrestlers while in her heel persona. She had done it to multiple prominent names in the WWE, including the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, and Ric Flair.

Nevertheless, Stephanie McMahon enjoyed a mesmerizing run as a WWE personality as she played the face and the heel throughout her tenure.

Stephanie McMahon’s reasons for joining the WWE and her rise as a heel

Stephanie joined the WWE in a kayfabe storyline with Test back in 1999. Many people don’t know this, but pro wrestling legend Vince Russo was the first to suggest Stephanie play a character in the WWE. Similarly, The Undertaker was the first to refer to Stephanie as a character he could use to get into Vince McMahon‘s head. Stephanie McMahon joined the WWE due to these reasons.

Even during her initial run in the company, she played a babyface for a short period. Turning heel whenever she could to make the most out of being the daughter of Mr. McMahon.
