The closing events of the Royal Rumble had the wrestling world buzzing. After Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens to retain the WWE Undisputed Universal title, he followed that up with a vicious beatdown of Owens along with the rest of The Bloodline. But after demanding Sami Zayn strike Owens down with a chair, ‘The Honorary Uce’ turned on Reigns and hit him with a chair shot heard around the world.

This led to Jimmy Uso kicking down Zayn and asking his brother to join in. However, Jey Uso was having none of it and walked out of the ring. Since then Jey Uso made an Instagram post hinting at his Bloodline future and things got really tense in the family after he didn’t show up on SmackDown this week. Later, Jey Uso posted a story on his Instagram with a cryptic message.

Roman Reigns asked Jimmy Uso to find his brother

The fallout from the Royal Rumble continued on this week’s episode of SmackDown after Roman Reigns confronted Jimmy Uso about the whereabouts of his brother. The Head of the Table asked him if he heard from him. When Jimmy said he hasn’t, an agitated Reigns said it was “disrespectful” of him to walk out and not have any communication after that.

He then asked him about the tag team title match The Usos have next before reiterating the urgency during WrestleMania season. The Tribal Chief said he wanted to know where Jey was and ordered Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso to find him.

As the fans got talking about Jey Uso’s absence from the show, one-half of the Undisputed Tag Team Champions posted an Instagram story while driving with a message dropping a hint of his whereabouts. In the story’s caption, he wrote, “Riding thru the city. .. Is where I be.”

Although he didn’t reveal where he was exactly, Jey Uso didn’t seem keen to return to The Bloodline for at least another week.

The Usos defend their tag team titles next week on SmackDown

Whether or not Jey Uso shows up The Bloodline will be defending their SmackDown Tag Team titles next week against the team of Braun Strowman and Ricochet. Strowman and Ricochet beat The Imperium on SmackDown to earn their title opportunity.

What adds more intrigue to the next week’s showdown is the curious case of Jey Uso. Fans will be keen to see if he shows up to team up with his brother as they defend the tag team titles or stay away. And if he appears on SmackDown, his confrontation with Reigns will make for must-watch TV.

The Bloodline story continues to dominate WWE programming and keeps adding new layers of interest for the fans. What comes next is anybody’s guess.
