A recent backstage video from WWE SmackDown might hint at something. The surfaced video showed John Cena hanging out with a member of The Bloodline.

One would like to think that Cena and the members of The Bloodline never greet peacefully to each other. However, that is not the truth, and it is clearly seen in the emerging video as The Cenation Leader couldn’t maintain the in-ring character backstage.

One thing in which The Face of WWE never failed is his 20-year streak of performing at least once a year in the promotion. His recent appearance was on the last show of 2022. That final episode of SmackDown attracted several eyes.

The 16-time world champion made his yearly appearance by performing in a tag team match. He joined hands with Kevin Owens to defeat the two members of The Bloodline, Roman Reigns, and Sami Zayn.

John Cena broke his on-screen character

Despite his on-screen rivalry, the 45-year-old wrestler surely does not maintain the same behind the scenes. The best example of which is the recent video that is even shared by the five-time WWE United States Champion himself as a TikTok.

In the video, The Champ was having a conversation with the members of The New Day. While he was talking to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, the Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso passed by and both he and Cena greeted each other as any other athlete would.

The energy between them was pretty warm as they mingled in a friendly manner. However, it affected his on-screen character and must have boiled the blood of Roman Reigns. It wouldn’t be pleasing for The Powerhouse to see his teammates mingling with the WWE star who just conquered them. 

Another eye-catching part of the video was at the moment when Cena hilariously froze. It happened after he noticed he was getting filmed all this while.

The Tribal Chief might be in doubt

In Cena’s first televised match since August 2021, the wrestler again earned everyone’s respect. The Chain Gang Soldier and Owens destroyed their opponents and established their win over the title. However, the entire battle was more distressing for Zayn.

As he was seen embarrassing himself in the match in front of his leader, The Big Dog.

Now, this is a tough space for Reigns as he is still figuring out if he can trust his members or not. Firstly, he was confused about Zayn as he shares a friendly history with K.O.

But now he might be in doubt for Jimmy Uso as well.
