Dwayne Johnson gave almost two decades of his life to WWE before turning his focus on being a full-time Hollywood actor. In all those years in pro wrestling, he garnered quite a fan base for himself. But now it seems as if the fans have turned against him.

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, but in this case, the fans’ hearts have turned bitter. It has been almost three and a half years since The Rock appeared in WWE. The segment soon turned electrifying when The Most Electrifying Man in All Sports Entertainment made an entrance to the ring. He then joined forces with Lynch to heap insults on Corbin. After a while of slamming insults in Corbin’s face, The Man and DJ flattened him with a leg drop followed by The People’s Elbow and a Rock Bottom.

The People’s Champion is a beloved superstar, be it in pro wrestling or Hollywood. There is no doubt fans all around the world are hoping for him to return. Multiple times, the news about him making an appearance in WWE has garnered interest from the fans. But when the fans’ expectations were not met, it surely must have hurt them.

So we can infer that the WWE Universe using such harsh words for The Brahma Bull is stemmed from the fact that fans feel upset with him for being a no-show in WWE. The fans feel so disappointed that they have stopped expecting him to return ever to the squared circle.
