Even though everyone is looking forward to WrestleMania 40, everyone is now talking about the unfinished business with Cody Rhodes. Rhodes gained fan support when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson hinted that he and Roman Reigns may face one other at WrestleMania 40.

When word got out that The Rock—and not Cody Rhodes—would be challenging The Tribal Chief at WrestleMania 40, WWE received severe backlash for the booking. Anticipation of a confrontation between The Rock and Reigns surged with the Hollywood’s star recent return to WWE and his ambition to seize the position of Head of the Table. The situation was exacerbated when Johnson posted a video on Instagram promoting the WrestleMania 40 showdown.

He wrote, “Last Supper 🌍See y’all in Vegas this Thursday.~ People’s Champ.” Which is ultimately not sitting right with multiple fans. The Rock referred to this bout as a “lock-in” last year, but it has been building for three years. There has never been more anticipation for this long-awaited ideal match. Even if external circumstances prevented it from taking place.

How do you feel about this promotion? Do you think Dwayne Johnson would be welcomed in Vegas or be booed down as fans support Rhodes? Let us know your views in the comment section below.
