This time, it’s Kofi Kingston’s fell victim to the greatest risk WWE brings to the table. The New Day member suffered an ankle injury during the March 3 episode of WWE SmackDown after Drew McIntyre did a suicide dive on several wrestlers. Previously, Dave Meltzer noted that Kingston won’t need surgery. But now it seems that the circumstances changed as Kingston’s latest tweet confirms his plans to undergo surgery.

The former WWE Champion took to Twitter to reveal his surgery date, 17th March 2023. Kingston also reflected on the great hospitality Alabama folks have offered him.
