For over 21 years, John Cena has been enthralling the WWE Universe with at least a match every year. While there have been many legends who have graced the promotion, Cena’s longevity has been better than most, including the legendary Dwayne Johnson, who had a seven-year career before moving to Hollywood.
While Cena continuously keeps on drawing comparisons with The Rock, due to an uncanny resemblance in their wrestler-turned-actor journey, a WWE legend has kept the 46-year-old ahead when it comes to strength.

At 46 and 51, Cena and Johnson, respectively, are in phenomenal shape. It’s no secret that the two love to work out and invest time of their day in training the body. Johnson looks more muscular now than he did during his prime as a WWE superstar.
The Great One has a personalized gym and shared updates regularly. In comparison, Cena hardly shared his routine, but was spotted inside a public gym earlier this year, which left many clients of the facility happy.

Bubba Ray Dudley, who now plies his trade in the AEW as Bully Ray, has opened up about Cena’s strength. According to him, there is only one wrestler who can match Cena in endurance. Dudley made the claim while speaking on the Busted Open podcast.
The former one half of The Dudley Boyz, has named Claudio Castagnoli as Cena’s competitor. While hardcore fans would be aware, for those unversed, Castagnoli wrestled in the WWE as Cesaro for 11 years. “When it comes to muscular endurance, Claudio is top two in the wrestling industry. The only other person that I have seen Claudio be able to go toe to toe with and strength to strength is John Cena,” Dudley said. He also spoke about Cena and Cesaro’s matches during the latter’s WWE stint.
“Those guys have such phenomenal muscular endurance. They train their muscles in and out of the ring to go, go and go some more and have plenty of gas left in the tank,” he added. Both Cena and Cesaro possessed moves which highlighted their superhuman strength inside the ring.
Meanwhile, Cena has been feted earlier for his strength.

The two-time WWE World Heavyweight Championship once sat with legends Kane and Mark Henry for WWE Network’s Table for 3 and discussed his top three picks. Apart from the two guests, The Big Show also named Cena.
He said when Cena would pick him for the Attitude Adjustment- a move that requires the 16-time world champion to pick his opponent over his head and slam- The Big Show could order a pizza or call out for food. “He’s so strong and stable,” the 51-year-old regaled the other two guests.
