On the latest episode of his podcast, The Undertaker talked about how his participation in the event came about. He revealed that it all happened fast. Triple H called him a few days before to tell him about the possibility of participating in the event. However, the official confirmation only came on Sunday, a few hours before the blockbuster match.

Originally, WWE had hoped to have Stone Cold Steve Austin participate, which would have made more sense because of his historic rivalry with The Rock. However, Austin and WWE could not reach a financial agreement, so the idea had to be scrapped and The Undertaker took his place. But the fans surely loved the appearance of the Dead Man. What did you think of this surprise? Moreover, what did you make of The Rock’s warning to The Phenom? Let us know in the comments.
