WWE’s annual premium live event, Crown Jewel, is indeed going to be a fun ride for the fans. Similar to the previous year, this year’s event will also present a profusion of captivating matches for which the fans are waiting with bated breath. Just to let you know, the event is being brought to Saudi Arabia by the company in collaboration with officials for the fifth year. While few of the matches got official for the event, a few are yet to be locked for the November 4 PLE.

Now that the fans are curious about the rest of the card, they also want to know who could be the superstars or, one can say, legends to return at the Saudi Arabian event. And since the presence of colossal figures is not novel for a Saudi event, speculating the return of a few of the big names makes a lot of sense at this point in time. Surely, Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant and formidable opponents of all time. Marking his career with sheer strength and brute force for over two decades, Lesnar has also been a loyal attendee of this event. Also, The Beast has an impressive record at Crown Jewel. With three wins and just one loss, he has showcased why this event is his fortress. Interestingly, Lesnar has not returned after his defeat at SummerSlam, and now this is the perfect opportunity for the promotion to bring the ‘Alpha Male of our Species’ back with a bang.

Will Randy Orton make his much-awaited comeback?

Randy Orton is undoubtedly one of the biggest names that the fans are missing right now. With 14 world championships added to his resume, The Apex Predator has been hitting big for a very long time. Now that the Crown Jewel premium live event is on the horizon, the anticipation concerning his return is at its peak. However, the issues regarding his back injury are what can be the biggest obstacle to his comeback.

Actually, Orton was sidelined from the industry because of a severe back injury, leaving him in unimaginable pain. He also underwent surgery to fuse his lower back, and that kept him out of action for a very long time. Notably, this might be one of the longest halts witnessed by Bob Orton’s son throughout his wrestling career.

But the good news is that his rehab has gone well after that surgery. In fact, The Viper was recently found outside WWE’s performance center, which might raise the chances of his return to Crown Jewel. There have been quite a few speculations around his return to WWE. Now we have to see if he makes his grand come back at Crown Jewel.

Goldberg’s retirement match

The third name on this list is Goldberg. Even though he is not signed with WWE right now, it could be possible that they might rope him in for a one-off retirement match, which was the wish of Goldberg. One reason for that is serving the Saudis with the presence of various wrestling giants that the WWE has been doing in the past. WWE is know for bringing in legendary names for Saudi events  with Goldberg himself being a part of a few such events and it could be the case again,

The other reason is a retirement match for the veteran. Goldberg himself has revealed a wish to fight a retirement battle before he calls it quits on the sport. Should an agreement develop, Crown Jewel 2023 may witness the legendary wrestler’s last appearance in WWE. The last time Goldberg competed was at the Elimination Chamber 2022, which was also held in Saudi Arabia.  However, he tasted defeat at the hands of Roman Reigns.

While there are numerous reasons that could bring these legends back into the fold, it is still unknown when they will actually come back. However, keeping the reasons mentioned above in mind, they might come back after a really long stretch.

As Saudis are used to seeing these legends in their country, it is possible WWE might be having something up their sleeves when it comes to this year’s Crown Jewel PLE.
