Things have been running wild ever since AEW fired CM Punk. With countless rumors of Punk coming back to WWE flying around, fans can’t wait to see if Triple H, WWE’s Creative Head, will bury his hatchet with Punk and sign him on. With recent developments coming in at every passing hour, fans have decided to pose their own ideas to the retired wrestler in order to make signing Punk on more appealing.

Social media has gone rampant with the possibility of Punk being signed onto WWE. Some predict that Triple H might even sign the former AEW star on, just to exact his revenge on him by pitting Punk against a surprise opponent.

After a shocking termination from AEW following his altercation with “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, false reports have been circulating about Punk being seen near WWE headquarters. While the reports themselves may be false, it hasn’t stopped others from thinking of the possibilities.

Taking into account Punk’s history with Triple H, it’s obvious that if the former were to rejoin WWE, Triple H wouldn’t go easy on him. This was illustrated perfectly by Wrestle Features, who speculated that Triple H would pit Punk against Omos.

This cheeky dig comes to light, as Punk infamously walked out of WWE in 2014, citing several issues, including his poor booking and not getting a chance to perform at WrestleMania.

Before CM Punk’s Termination, Tony Khan Experienced Something at ‘Work’ He Hadn’t in Four Years

While Punk swore that he wouldn’t join WWE following his termination from the promotion, fans still took the chance to have fun at the wrestler’s expense.

Fans make their wild predictions on social media

Omos is a 7 ft 3 giant who’s been a part of WWE since 2019. Despite being in some high-profile bouts, including a match-up with the mighty Brock Lesnar, WWE Universe did not consider Omos a technician in the ring because of his limited wrestling abilities. While it’s certain Punk would never return to face Omos, it’s still managed to generate great responses.

Some have mocked their hypothetical match by labeling it as a classic since fans are aware of Omos’ limitations in the ring, contrary to Punk’s expertise.

A few fans mocked the situation by saying their potential matchup would either be the opening match or the second match as the King of Kings would never allow Punk to main event.

People have acknowledged their bad blood as they firmly believe the two hate each other so much that they would never work together under the same roof.

However, it’s unfortunate that Triple H is unlikely to sign the 44-year-old due to their creative differences and personal vendettas. Nonetheless, what do you think Punk will get up to next in his career?
