Roman Reigns is undoubtedly the biggest Superstar in WWE right now. As the face of the company for the past three years, ‘The Big Dog’ takes the throne in a long line of legends.

In a recent interview with Complex in the ‘Load Management’ episode of the podcast, Roman Reigns gave his top four picks for the greatest WWE Superstars of all time who have earned a spot on the Mount Rushmore of WWE.

“I guess I’m just gonna start with Taker,” said Reigns. “That’s like the easy one in my mind especially when it comes to overall.”

“I think especially due to what his, you know, the way he’s just continued to do it- Dwayne [Johnson]- The Rock. And now we’re getting into a really tough zone because like you gotta do Steve I think,” explained Reigns.

“‘Stone cold’ Steve Austin because of what he stood for, transitioning the whole game and especially when it was nose-diving. He was, like for a couple of years all the marbles were on him.”

“And then you know like, the environment of the audience was changing as well. The whole dynamic- the internet was still the old internet but people were being able to talk as far as being hard-core fans and stuff like that.”

Roman Reigns chose Hulk Hogan over John Cena

The WWE Universal Champion then made a very tough choice between WWE legends John Cena and Hulk Hogan.

“The connection there was different and then it’s weird because I also that those two dudes in the same category- Hulk Hogan and John Cena. They’re very similar with the kind of characters they were and the audience they drew,” said Reigns.

“I’m gonna go with Hogan then. John I mean, it’s tough. I don’t think anyone ever as a whole career has sold more merchandise than John Cena. But that’s just a true testament to Hulk Hogan.”

Reigns also mentioned how Hulk Hogan had a much more versatile and creative character arc. Hulk could transition from a heel NWO character to his popular yellow and red attired character with ease, something that impressed Roman.

However, John Cena may not take too lightly to this. He was one of the most popular WWE Superstars in his prime. However, Reigns seems to have made his final choice.

He regrets not mentioning Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels, as they too were one of the best. Roman Reigns tops his list off by choosing the four members he thinks are the best of all time. Perhaps someday he too will make it to WWE’s Mount Rushmore.
