This year, WrestleMania XL will take place at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on April 6 and 7. With Mania XL just a few weeks away, plans for the next Mania have already started. Among the cities chosen to be a possible venue for the show, Minneapolis looks to have sealed the deal. Well, there is only one famed WWE star who belongs to the Minnesota Vikings’ hometown, Brock Lesnar. Could this be a hint that The Beast could be returning for one last Mania amidst the Vince McMahon controversy?

With Minnesota being close to closing the WrestleMania XLI deal, will Brock Lesnar return?

Since SummerSlam 2023, Brock Lesnar has not been seen on WWE programming. With the involvement in the Vince McMahon controversy that came to light, the WWE has maintained some distance from The Beast. Despite all this, he is still shown as part of the main roster online. This has led fans to believe the WWE is figuring out a way to make Lesnar have a comeback, but the question remains: how will that be possible?

Prior to this, Fightful Select reported in July 2023 that the U.S. Bank Stadium was a frontrunner in potential venues for the next Mania. Noted for having a capacity of over 73,000 with a climate-controlled dome was another key factor. This led to massive fan speculation about how WWE could manifest Lesnar’s return. The other wrestlers in the WWE from Minnesota are Tiffany Stratton and Chad Gable. Both are rising stars and would receive a hero’s welcome in their hometown.

The WWE Universe wants Brock Lesnar vs Gunther as his retirement match

As soon as fans heard the possible venue could be Brock Lesnar’s hometown, the speculation started. Since Lesnar was named part of the McMahon controversy, fans have debated how the WWE could bring him back if they choose to. Having Mania in his hometown could be the best way to do this. Think of CM Punk in Chicago or Sasha Banks in Boston. Here are the top fan reactions.

The Beast may be on the verge of returning. Lesnar’s return, although controversial, is something fans want to see.

Lesnar vs Gunther has been a dream match fans want to see. Prior to the controversy, fans wanted this match at Mania XL.

Could this be Lesnar’s retirement match? With a stain on his legacy in the wrestling world, if Lesnar does return, it could be his last match.

That is a good question, but we all know it is Lesnar. The Beast even left the WWE to join the Minnesota Vikings for an unsuccessful run.
