One of the most extensive debates among food lovers is whether pineapple belongs on pizza or not. Also known as the Hawaiin pizza, people have been divided over it for years. It is quite a simple question, but it has transcended through various mediums. Various celebrities and chefs all over the world have debated on the topic. And now, it looks like Rhea Ripley, too gave her verdict. But it feels like her fiancee, Buddy Matthews is not quite happy with it.

Ripley showed her stand, literally

On the fine afternoon of October 6th, 2023, Rhea Ripley took to X (former Twitter) to share a pic with her fiance, Buddy Matthews. Although The Eradicator could be seen with her gleeful smile, Matthews was not looking quite happy. In the picture, the 26-year-old star could be seen wearing a pizza costume, whereas Matthews is seen wearing a t-shirt with a pineapple design on it.

With the caption, Ripley has made her stand that pineapple indeed goes on pizza according to her. But it looks like the AEW star thinks otherwise. He can be seen with a grumpy look. However, it also looks like he had no other option but to accept it. It is one of the many public sightings in which both the stars from different promotions could be seen having fun with each other whenever they get time.

Rhea Ripley Can’t Get Enough as She Drops 5-Word Message After Dominik Mysterio’s Triumph on NXT

Both stars are known for the iconic and formidable heel personas at their respective promotions. But often they have proved to have a soft spot for each other.

Buddy Matthews misses Mami

The only bane of being a pro wrestler is continuous touring. The stars are often on the road, going to different live shows and performing there. Due to this, they find very little time for themselves and their loved ones. This was once addressed by Dominik Mysterio when he was talking about his real-life beau. With Buddy Matthews and Ripley in different promotions, they don’t get much time to be together. Hence, the AEW star once shared his excitement on Instagram after he got to see Ripley after a long time.

He shared a photo in his Instagram story and expressed his excitement with the caption. To this, Rhea Ripley also shared the same and expressed she was as happy and excited as he was.

Even though she is head over heels for Matthews, she was often paired by fans with Dominik Mysterio for their exceptional on-screen chemistry. Rhea Ripley and Buddy Matthews met each other back in 2021.

During this time, he was a part of WWE under the ring name “Murphy”. However, he left the promotion in the same year and found a new home at AEW in 2022. They were in contact all this time and they got engaged in August of 2023.
