Rhea Ripley Gets Emotional While Talking About How Much Time She Gets to Spend With Her Real Life “Mami” and “Papi”: “I Hadn’t Seen My Dad in Four Years”

The current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is on a roll and is one of the most over superstars on the current. After defeating Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39, Ripley elevated herself to the top of the roster. Ripley is famous for portraying her tough character on-screen, which tolerates no nonsense. Ripley’s character is a heel, and she plays it to excellence.

However, recently during an interview, Mami opened up on a very different side of her, and let the fans know of her vulnerability. During the podcast, Ripley would become emotional while speaking about her family, her real-life ‘mami’ and ‘papi’.

The 26-year-old would open up about her family life in Australia, and how she met her father after a long span of four years. Speaking on it she also mentioned, how their presence at WrestleMania made her happy.

Rhea Ripley would break out of her tough persona and get emotional while opening up about her family. She revealed how close she is with her father, and how staying away from him for so long affected her.

Ripley said, “I don’t really go back that often. It’s very hard being this far away from everything that I know and everyone that I love. I don’t really get to see them that often. Grateful that this year has been kind to me, with often not that kind in a way because I have been able to go back twice, and have my parents and uncle come to WrestleMania. “

She further said, “I hadn’t seen my dad in four years, which is really really difficult. I love my dad, definitely daddy’s girl. I got to see mom when she came down for a little bit, my sister came down, made my life very very difficult but I really love them.”

Despite being one of the toughest members in The Judgment Day and the women’s roster, Rhea Ripley broke her shackles to show her soft side on the podcast and helped the fans connect with her more.

The 26-year-old just finished her rivalry with Zelina Vega and currently is without any major feud. However, with Night of Champions approaching in a couple of weeks, WWE might have something planned for Mami in Saudi Arabia.
