WWE Universe was in for a rude shock as Jey Uso, one half of The Usos alongside his twin Jimmy, viciously attacked Sami Zayn in a brutal betrayal. Zayn, a former Bloodline stable mate, left Roman Reigns’ faction after slamming the current WWE champion with a chair at the Royal Rumble PLE.

While The Bloodline roamed like assassins trying to get the perpetrator, it was the latter’s closest ally (or one thought) who plunged the proverbial dagger when presented with an opportunity. To pile on the misery, Jey had walked out on his team, going incognito for a week, forcing his brothers- Jimmy and Solo Sikoa- Reigns and his counsel Paul Heyman to almost declare him a rogue. But it wasn’t to be.

Well, after the betrayal, the gap between Zayn and The Usos widened, and the scars have become prominent. Since the unfortunate event, Zayn, alongside longtime frenemy Kevin Owens, has been involved in frequent skirmishes with Rikishi’s sons.

However, a recent gesture by one of The Usos involving Zayn may cause The Bloodline to fall apart.

Jey Uso hails Sami Zayn as a dope performer

Leaving aside his WWE gimmick, Jey lauded Sami Zayn as one of the most prolific pro-wrestlers. “Sami Zayn is one of the most dopest performers in wrestling. Half the promos, he’s like, ‘Uce, say this’… he’s like coaching me too, coaching all of us. He’s been in the business longer than us, man, you know,” he said at WaleMania.

Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa, Jimmy and Jey’s younger brother, who was present on the stage, didn’t seem happy with the praise. He shook his head in disbelief as his brother made the bold claims. One could understand Solo trying to protect his ‘Enforcer’ gimmick, but this was his brother being real.

Following the public disagreement, one can’t help but wonder if Roman Reigns’ Bloodline is indeed heading for a split. Meanwhile, fans were in agreement with Jey Uso.

“F**k kayfabe this is wholesome,” a user tweeted.

Another said, “Brothers forever…”

All the praises aside, Jimmy and Jey will take on the tag team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at WrestleMania on April 1. The brothers will be defending their belts.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens leave messages for The Usos

Ahead of their high-tension clash, Sami Zayn has left a simple message for his former comrades. The former masked wrestler will go all guns blazing to avenge the betrayal and humiliation he faced on March 6 at RAW.

His partner, The Prizefighter Kevin Owens, however, praised Zayn and The Usos for doing the groundwork needed to set up the match.

“There are probably people who are more looking forward to our match than the one between Roman and Cody, because of the history and because of the work that the Uso and Sami did to get to where we are. No one has done a better job in the last year than these three guys,” he told Pat Laprade of TVA Sports during a recent interview.
