Recently, speaking on The Tonight Show Roman Reigns addressed the rumors of his cousin Dwayne Johnson returning to the squared circle to face him and warned ‘The Brahma Bull’ to be “ready to fall down” if he shows up. The host Jimmy Fallon then asked him who else is in the mix to face him. ‘The Tribal Chief’ mentioned the name of the ‘Honorary Uce’ Sami Zayn before bringing up Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes made the jump from AEW to WWE last year when he wrestled Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. He’s in line for a main event push before his injury. Reigns said Rhodes was “super white hot” prior to his injury. He then went into detail about how Rhodes won over the fans with his performance at Hell in a Cell; where he wrestled with a torn pectoral muscle for around 40 minutes. Reigns commented, “A fourth of his body is completely broken. And he goes out there and puts on a 40-minute performance and just completely wins over our entire fan base.

Reigns also praised Rhodes for his effort and said, “So lots of guts, lot of courage on him. He’s gonna be coming back soon, too.” This is indeed high praise for Rhodes from one of the top WWE stars today. But before he can think about main-eventing WrestleMania, he will have to go through Kevin Owens at the PLE.
