Sasha Banks is undeniably one of the most talented and decorated female wrestlers in WWE. In addition, she recently paid tribute to the most remarkable tag team in the history of WWE, D-Generation X!
Whenever one talks about legendary tag-teams in WWE, one of the first names that pop in the head of wrestling fans is ‘DX.’ Last weeks’ edition of SmackDown featured Sasha Banks and Naomi joining forces as a tag team. On the latest episode of SmackDown, Naomi squared off against Carmella in a single match.

Naomi picked up an exciting victory over Carmella, and Sasha Banks seemed thrilled about her partner’s win.

The Boss, after Naomi’s win, came inside the ring, and the duo celebrated her victory by dancing and jiggling. However, Sasha Banks didn’t stop there. During the commercial break after the match, Sasha Banks honored DX.

The D-Generation X was a tag-team led by WWE legends Triple H and Shawn Michaels. When the two worked full-time with the company, DX was a fan favorite tag team.

The theme song and gimmick of The DX was hard rock and was punk-based. Triple H and Shawn Michaels used to enter the ring with LED – neon green lights in their hands and formed an ‘X’ with the light tube. The WWE Universe used to grove to the music and moves by The DX.
Sasha Banks did the same during the latest SmackDown commercial break. The D-Generation X theme song popped, and ‘The Boss’ brought in the neon-green light tubes in the ring. She and Naomi glorified The DX team by forming ‘X’ with the lights.

The WWE Universe had the loudest cheer for D-Generation X, as they appreciated the gesture by Sasha Banks paying tribute to them.

In addition, this is not the first time that Banks has shown respect for DX. Earlier, The Boss and her former tag team partner Bayley have paid their respect to DX in the WWE locker room by wearing their merchandise and posing in front of the camera.
Even The New Day showed their love for DX when WWE celebrated its 20th anniversary of D-Generation X. DX set an example of a friendship bond between Triple H and Shawn Michaels and inspired many wrestlers of the WWE.
