John Cena represented the WWE for over a decade as its face and portrayed the ultimate good guy character. He fought against the odds, respected most of his opponents, and preached ‘Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect’.

With time, Cena became the ultimate baby face in pro wrestling and one of its biggest stars. However, Cena’s early days in WWE were quite opposite to what he would later represent. Instead of a humble champion, Cena had a rapper gimmick where he would regularly insult his opponents.

In late 2003, Cena had just turned face and began targeting the bad guys. After helping Team Angle pick up a win over Team Lesnar at Survivor Series, Cena made his way to the ring on SmackDown to confront Vince McMahon, who was standing in the ring with Sable.

The two had been in an on-screen relation during this time. McMahon had defeated The Undertaker at Survivor Series and bragged how he was untouchable, a lyric in Cena’s entrance theme at that time. This led to Cena coming out and laying it out on McMahon and Sable.
