Earlier this year, we got to see The Rock make more and more appearances on WWE’s weekly schedule. It all started on the first episode of the year on RAW, where he confronted Jinder Mahal. The Rock gave a hopeful glimpse into the future as he issued a bold hint at fighting Roman Reigns. As the months went by, we saw how the ‘Final Boss’ snatched Cody Rhodes’ spot in the match against Reigns at WrestleMania 40.

Finally, this story was scrapped because the public was very much on top of ‘The American Nightmare’. Therefore, the match between Rhodes vs. Reigns on Night 2 of WrestleMania XL became official. After this, we saw how The Rock opted for a heel role and joined The Bloodline. This is a storyline that fans and critics alike have highly praised. So much so, that even the Rock has come forward to praise the work of Paul Levesque aka Triple H.

After winning the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, the Brahma Bull tended to the post-show press conference. It was during this media appearance that the Rock was asked to give his verdict on the work of Triple H. Praising the work of the COO for bringing something fresh to pro wrestling, the Rock said, “I think Triple H has done tremendous job as our Chief Creative Officer, I think that’s his title, he has a few. Earned every single one of them. I like ushering in new things and new times and new eras. And it feels like in our world of professional wrestling, it is a new era that we’re ushering in.”

He further revealed that he also had a conversation with HHH before the show. He said, “I talked to Paul Levesque (HHH) earlier as we were kicking-off the show tonight. And without giving any detail on what we talked about, like it was a special night for him. This was the beginning of something, marking the beginning of something new for him. Under his creative. And I think from a company standpoint this is an exciting time for the company, for the WWE, for the TKO.”

Well, now the Rock can look forward to making the most out of this new era in Wrestling by helping his cousin retain his title and defeat the American Nightmare in a Bloodline rules match. What do you think? Who would win? Let us know in the comments below!
