Stone Cold Steve Austin Proves Why He’s the Ultimate Rebel

Throughout his career, Stone Cold has been recognized for his rebellious attitude. He even had a dispute with Vince McMahon throughout his career. He recently showed a glimpse of his rebellious attitude again. The usage of the middle finger was prohibited at WrestleMania, but he went ahead and used it, anyway.

On the newest episode of The Pat McAfee Show. McAfee mentioned that Stone Cold was told not to flip his finger during rehearsals, McAfee stated, “He was working on coming out. And, you know, we’re in a different era now of the WWE than we were then.’’

“So, I got to watch this dude’s entrance within an empty stadium or whatever. He goes right to that top rope, f**king both fingers straight up in the air. He’s doing his whole thing. Then I see three producers running over ‘Can’t do that. Can’t do that.’ So he does it again. ‘Can’t do that.’ He was like, ‘Alright.’ So he just put his fist up or whatever.’’

‘‘As I was watching him [at the show], I was wondering, ‘There’s no way he keeps that middle finger down, the middle finger from Steve Austin is coming at some point.’ Then last night, he had a couple.” 

The rivalry between Vince McMahon and Stone Cold Steve Austin

Austin and McMahon had one of the most heated rivalries throughout the Attitude Era. Both McMahon and Austin had conflicts with each other throughout. Their intensely heated war lasted from the late 90s until Austin’s retirement.

In 1999 at Royal Rumble, McMahon, at last, eliminated Stone Cold and surprisingly won the Rumble.

However, the Rivalry between Vince and Austin continued in WrestleMania 38. When McMahon was celebrating his victory against McAfee with Austin Theory, Austin stormed into the ring and instantly hit Austin Theory with a stunner.

Furthermore, Vince and Austin drank beers in the ring. After a drink, Austin delivered another Stunner and kicked McMahon out of the ring.
