“This Was Very Scary”: Amidst Strange Absence From Raw, 365-Pound Giant Braun Strowman Breaks Silence on Sudden Neck Surgery

WWE stars are prone to several life and career-threatening injuries. Another wrestler recently experienced a serious injury. During a tag team match on 21st April this year, Braun Strowman injured himself, due to which he had to sit at home. The wrestler tweeted about the injury a few days after the match was over and also mentioned how much he misses work. Despite the injury, Strowman managed to show up in matches on April 28 and May 1. However, he hasn’t been seen inside the ring since.

So, the injury Strowman suffered probably was serious, but fans need not worry about the WWE star as the company is already taking good care of him. Strowman recently took to Instagram to update his fans about the situation a bit better.

WWE star hopes for a speedy recovery

Strowman did not confirm where he got the injury from. It could be something developing for a long time, or it could be a recent happening like the concussion that took place on 21st April. However, he did confirm in the Instagram post that he is getting neck-fusion surgery. Strowman’s C4 and C5 vertebrae underwent a ‘level one’ fusion.

In the caption, he also praised WWE for taking good care of him and for always looking out the best way possible for its stars. “Thank you to @wwe for always taking the up most care of us. This was very scary to find out about having to have done and they were there every step of the way reassuring that I was going to have the best care possible,” said Strowman.

Strowman mentioned that his surgery could take a while to heal back from while writing, “I assure you (in the words of the #Terminator) I’ll be back!!!!” After reading this, his fans must have let out a sigh of relief upon seeing the wrestler confident about his recovery.

It appears that the 365-pound athlete isn’t the only WWE star who is on the road to recovery. A co-star of his is also fighting through his surgery to get better for his fans.

Another WWE star on the recovery road

Former WWE champion Big E suffered a severe neck injury on SmackDown last year. As a result, he was carried out of the arena on a stretcher. His injury was life-threatening but the former champion was miraculously saved. He had to undergo neck surgery just like Strowman.

The wrestler has dropped information about his recovery every now and then. His last update was a letter of happiness for his fans. Big E showed in the video that he is able to move faster than at the start of his recovery days.
