Where will Sasha Banks wrestle next has been the talk of the town since last year! Fans had been expecting answers from her for months about her next destination. However, that seems to be sorted as there are many discussions of her joining AEW and not WWE. Now it seems like there is one thing that fans can be sure of: her making her first public appearance. 

On her social media page, Sasha Banks revealed where and when her 1st public appearance will be. This news increased the fans and supporters’ excitement for her impending wrestling return. So where is Sasha Banks aka Mercedes Mone coming?

“The Boss” is set to grace the stage at an Awards Show in Japan. A few days ago Banks had updated in her Instagram stories that she had flown to Japan. Many suspected a potential match and others just speculated her vacationing. But now the reason has been revealed on X! Sasha Banks, also known as Mercedes Mone, is officially going to be the presenter for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2024. The event will take place on March 2nd. 

She recently used the social media platform Twitter to advertise the next event. She captioned, “I’m so excited for @TheAnimeAwards @Crunchyroll. Tune in tomorrow Mar 2 at 6 PM JST.” This event has an amazing selection of many musical performances by different artists.

Renowned artists like Hiroyuki Sawano, Shing02 with OMA, Kota Yamamoto, and SPIN MASTER A-1 will be there. This celebration will be a tribute to the significant achievements that took place in the anime industry. 

“Standing on Big Business”: Sasha Banks Drops Major Return Opponent Clue as Mercedes Mone After Challenge by Women’s Champion

As stated by Banks the event will start at 6 PM JST. It will also be live-streamed on their YouTube and Twitch channels. Even Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira will be there as hosts. Apart from this, there are suspicions about her opponent for her AEW first match. Today, Banks gave a clue on X about the same thing. 

Possible opponent against Sasha Banks in AEW big event

Amidst the buzz surrounding Sasha Banks’ anticipated move to AEW, fans have been eagerly speculating about potential opponents for her in the ring.

Banks will be making her possible debut on AEW Big Business which will take place on 13th March. Fans have been speculating about wrestlers such as Thunder Rosa, Serena Deeb, and Dr. Britt Baker as her dream match opponents. However today Banks posted a tweet on X revealing her possible opponent. 

It is none other than Giulia who defended her title against Stephanie Vaquer recently. Scott E. Wrestling had tweeted that Giulia wants to keep the championship until a match against Mercedes Mone. To this Banks replied, “You standing on big business or u just standing around! YoU know where to find me.” Maybe making Giulia her opponent for the debut match.
