However, when her match with Asuka was interrupted by Shotzi, one Women’s Champion felt that her defeat caused an embarrassing moment in front of the stars.

After her match, Bayley was seen backstage with Dakota Kai. Bayley was still shocked after what unfolded in the ring. During her backstage interview, she made it clear that this was not what she was expecting. As the clips started doing rounds on the internet, Bayley took to X (formerly Twitter) to address how she felt after she was defeated. She retweeted the clip with a quote saying “I can’t believe I was embarrassed in front of @TheRock and @JohnCena”. This showed her frustration and embarrassment as she was defeated moments away from what she thought would be sure victory.

She even took to Instagram to post a story with the caption “On a show with The Rock and John Cena, I was embarrassed and I’ll never forget it.” This truly showed how much the loss affected her. The Role Model wanted retaliation from Asuka as she had interrupted Damage CTRL’s match with Charlotte Flair and Shotzi. Shotzi’s interruption during their match was nothing but a way to make things even between her and Asuka.

But Bayley didn’t just stop there. She tweeted a message for Asuka following her own defeat. And to this message, Asuka gave a very fitting and witty reply.

Bayley tweeted a message for Asuka showing her hatred for her. She tweeted “I f’n hate you” showing how much she despised her rival. To this, Asuka replied by saying, “I love you and you love me”, implying that she was not going to leave her alone any time soon.

Unlike other rivalries, Bayley and Asuka’s rivalry is unique. Their rivalry is more about the two competing with each other rather than anything to do with a storyline. It started off when they were in their NXT days. Asuka had ended Bayley’s undefeated streak as the NXT Women’s Champion giving birth to the rivalry. Thanks to this, the two have been engaged in a bitter rivalry, with Bayley doing everything in her power to get back at Asuka.
