The WWE Universe has been demanding a Roman ReignsDwayne Johnson feud for a very long time. These demands started to arise when Reigns donned the moniker of The Tribal Chief and rallied his family’s support to engage in nefarious deeds. But, now when a Rock vs Reigns match is finally here, nobody wants it. Recently Dwayne Johnson turned heel on the WrestleMania 40 kickoff event. A new social media post showcased a 10-year-old clip where Dwayne Johnson made an eerie prediction.

The wrestling community didn’t believe the fact that The Rock had masterminded his inclusion into a potential Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns feud in his efforts to turn heel. That is until this resurfaced clip suggested otherwise.

The current situation where Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble to challenge Roman Reigns resulted in a slap by The People’s Champ. In today’s WrestleMania 40 kickoff show, Rhodes took shots at Reigns saying that if The Rock’s grandfather was here, he would be ashamed of him. To this Johnson slapped Rhodes instantly, hence turning heel. Now, an Instagram post by Chris Van Vliet that was posted hours ago has Dwayne Johnson speaking about the topic in 2014. In the reel, Chris Van Viletcan asked him about going against Roman Reigns back then at WrestleMania 31. To which The Rock replied, “I don’t know if that match makes sense now.”

The Rock continued, “He is not the top heel right now so you would look at that unless I went in as a heel and he was a babyface and I mean there’s a lot.” The interviewer stated that The Hollywood star could not don a heel role due to his massive popularity. But he was shut down immediately by The Rock, who said playfully, “Don’t you tell me what I can and can’t be.”
