Mandy Rose has been the hottest topic in the world of pro wrestling in the past few days. First, she unexpectedly lost her NXT Women’s title to Roxanne Perez on NXT. Then, a few hours later, WWE unceremoniously released her from her contract.

This news shocked wrestling fans everywhere as they expected Rose to be called back to the main roster following her impressive NXT run. She held the Women’s Championship on WWE’s developmental brand for over a year, one of the longest reigns in NXT history.

Rose’s sudden departure does leave a gaping hole in the roster as she brought a wealth of experience with her. Also, she was in the middle of some of her best career work in WWE before her release. According to many reports, WWE released her due to the nature of the content she posted on her FanTime page, which violated her WWE agreement.

Mandy Rose took part in the 2015 Tough Enough competition and finished as runner-up and then signed a WWE contract after the show. In 2016 Rose made her NXT debut and continued to be on the brand for a year before her main roster call-up. She debuted on RAW alongside Sonya Deville as they formed the stable Absolution, with former WWE star Paige at the helm.

She continued to team with Deville as the duo came to be known as Fire and Desire. Her main roster run saw her being involved in a memorable romantic storyline with WWE stars Otis and Dolph Ziggler. She then also fought her friend-turned-foe Deville in a Loser Leaves Town match at SummerSlam which she won.

But in a surprise move, it was Mandy Rose who moved to NXT and had a successful run. She recruited Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne to form the Toxic Attraction faction. The trio dominated the Women’s division on the new-look NXT. She defeated Raquel Rodriguez at Halloween Havoc 2021 to win the NXT Women’s title, which held for 413 days before Roxanne Perez defeated her.

During this period, Rose put on many memorable matches and revitalized her career. Many fans expected her to be called up to the main roster again, but WWE released her after issues with her FanTime content. According to reports, Rose posted some raunchy photos of herself on the platform, which didn’t sit well with WWE.

Despite this unfortunate turn of events, Rose has a lot to look forward to in her personal life. In September this year, she also got engaged to former NXT superstar Tino Sabbatelli and has plans to get married. Sabbatelli also factored into the recent FanTime controversy with her fiance. Photos from Rose’s page in the shower with Sabbatelli began doing rounds on the internet. These leaked photos led to Rose’s subsequent release from WWE.

Who is Tino Sabbatelli, the fiance of Mandy Rose?

A superstar as attractive as Mandy Rose would have been no short of suitors. Rose was engaged to her former fiance, Michael Lubic in 2018 after years of dating. However, the couple called off their engagement soon after. Shortly afterward, Rose revealed she has been dating former NXT superstar Tino Sabbatelli. The pair even attended the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony together. The two first met at WWE’s Performance Center and became friends.

In September this year, Rose announced on Instagram that she and her boyfriend Sabbatelli are engaged. The former NXT Women’s Champion posted a few photos and showed her engagement ring along with her new fiance.
