Time has gone by and Vince McMahon is now 78 years old. With old age comes a lot of health problems that need medical attention. And the same happened with the TKO Executive Chairman who had to undergo a serious spinal operation on 21st July.

The speculation is that the spinal surgery was because of the intense heavy lifting McMahon has done over the years. This was also not the first time Mr McMahon had a major surgery. He had neck surgery back in 1994. The spinal surgery lasted 4-5 hours and was life-altering.

This surgery has definitely taken a huge toll on the 78-year-old’s body. So much so that he has to now use a cane for support while walking. He was spotted in Saudi Arabia for the boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou and was seen using a cane for support. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com confirmed the same. He tweeted, “Vince McMahon is at the Tyson Fury/Francis Ngannou fight with The Undertaker. Vince is still walking with a cane after his surgery”.

But wrestling pundits are questioning if this surgery was just a ploy to gain sympathy.

Former head writer of the WWE, Vince Russo thinks that this is just a ploy by the 78-year-old to gain sympathy from law enforcement agents. On his appearance on The Wrestling Outlaws, he pointed to an incident from 1990 where McMahon wore a neck brace during the steroid trial. So is his use of a cane just a prop to gain sympathy? Only time will tell. But how do you feel seeing the once ruthless Vince McMahon now walk with the support of a cane?
