WWE Announces the Next Opponent for Drew McIntyre at WWE TLC

On WWE Raw, a new number one contender for the WWE Championship was determined. The Phenomenal AJ Styles defeated Riddle and Keith Lee in a sudden death Triple Threat match on WWE Raw. He will face Drew McIntyre at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs.

Styles walked down the ramp with his bodyguard, Omos. The towering giant was chucking alongside Riddle prior to the match, but played an important role in swinging the odds in Styles’ favour.
Keith Lee looked particularly impressive in this match. The former NXT Champion is treating every match like a breakout performance.

Riddle entered another one of his star-making performances. He bounced around the ring like a ping-pong ball, hitting his opponents with forearms, kicks and throwing them with impressive suplexes.

Styles was the wily veteran who managed to avoid Riddle’s explosive offence and Keith Lee’s immense strength. It might be hard to believe but AJ Styles was actually the underdog in this match.
Riddle proved that he can fight out of any situation by countering a Spirit Bomb into a hanging arm bar. He even connected with a picture perfect springboard corkscrew moonsault onto Lee and Styles.

Riddle showcased his strength by lifting Lee for a power bomb, but crumbled under the latter’s weight. AJ Styles flew off the top rope with a cross body, after Riddle got flung by a massive overhead belly-to-belly suplex.

The finish came when Lee and Riddle had an amazing exchange, littered with heavy strikes and back-and-forth wrestling. Riddle nearly knocked out Lee with a couple of knee strikes, but AJ Styles flew in with the Phenomenal Forearm and smashed Riddle. This was enough to book Styles’ ticket to TLC.

AJ Styles vs Drew McIntyre is a dream match that never occurred to the fans. Both wrestlers are extremely decorated and have established their careers on the independent scene. With McIntyre’s explosiveness and Styles’ agility, we are surely in for an amazing title match.
AJ Styles is the type of wrestler that does not need a title to prove his mettle. His resume is incredibly impressive, and he’s one of the best in the world. No wonder WWE keeps pushing him into the title picture once a year.
