After dealing with prolonged boos from the crowd, Mysterio told Rhodes that he was a ‘deadbeat dad’ like his own father, WWE legend Rey Mysterio, for not taking care of his toddler. Rhodes, who has recently been in good form with the mic, took a shot at the WWE Hall of Famer, to make his point.

He mocked Dominik’s prison time and his WrestleMania 39 match, calling it a public spanking. Next, he said he empathized with Rey and his mistakes, before proceeding to call Dominik one. Hurt by what he just heard, Dominik took advantage of The American Nightmare’s unsuspecting turn and slapped him.
