The WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan marked an incredible legacy when he stepped inside the squared circle. In his early years with the AWA wrestling promotion, company owner Verne Gagne refused to make him the AWA World Champion.

Later, though, The Hulkster proved his worth inside the wrestling ring to the world.

In addition, the owner of WWE, Vince McMahon, believed in Terry Eugene Bollea. So Vince McMahon introduced the WWE Universe to the blond hair muscle guy in 1983.

Since then Hogan has gone on to become an all-time great and has won the WWE World Championship six times. In 1984, The Hulkster became the first wrestler to escape the “Camel Clutch” by The Iron Sheik.

History was created when Hogan defeated Iranian Sheik to win his first WWE title at Madison Square Garden, New York.

The Hulkster recently appeared on The Hannibal TV podcast and talked about his legacy. The host of Hannibal TV asked Hogan about his thoughts on what he thinks is The Hulkster’s footprint and endowment.

“Well, I think with all the smoke clears, it will be 10,15, 20,30, 40, 50, years from now, they [fans] will just have to at least acknowledge and just say the only thing they can think of, because they won’t remember what I did,” Hulk Hogan replied.

The six-times World Champion also thinks the same about other wrestlers. He imagines that the wrestling fans won’t remember what he did in the wrestling ring; they will have his memories. “They won’t remember what I did, or what Jericho did, or what The Rock did or anything and be like, ‘Oh, he was the greatest wrestler ever,’” Hulk continued. 

It was fun for Hogan to be inside the squared circle

Hollywood Hogan has appeared on the WWE programming for a long time. He has also been a part of various movies and TV series. Additionally, The Super Destroyer’s famous catchphrase, “Hulkamania is running wild, Brother,” buzzed on t-shirts, lunch boxes, and posters of him.

Yes, Hulk Hogan has a huge fan base, and he believes that people would remember him.

Hulk said, “One-liner to describe something, so that’s probably going to end up; that’s not an ego thing, just from being on TV for so long, so many people know me. But that will probably be the legacy for the general public. For me, it was just a great time; we changed the business, it helped a lot of people. I probably did it two months, I crippled myself, but it was a lot of fun.”
