One of the many reasons for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s popularity is his role in reviving XFL. Johnson took over the reins of the minor football league back in August 2020 and immediately announced the plans for its revival. While the first season of the league was supposed to kick off in 2022, it got delayed. Fans witnessed XFL in its glory in 2023 during its first run.

While the owners, Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia claim that the league has been a major success, they announced a major plan which might change the scenario of spring football.

How is Dwayne Johnson’s production house doing?

While XFL and USFL are now one entity, this might help in bringing major profits for the business tycoon. On the other hand, his first venture, Seven Bucks Production has some good news too. The production house announced that they have added two new faces to the company. According to the reports, Sony Pictures Television’s former Senior Vice President Scott Landsman will be joining along with  Melissa Fried of the Verve.

Along with the live-action adaptation of Moana, Johnson will be collaborating with Vice Studios to work on a docu-series based on WCW. The series will focus on the rise, the fall, and what went wrong with the wrestling promotion. Looks like Dwayne Johnson will have a busy year. Are you excited to see the first season of UFL?
