Sharpe is no coward when it comes to weights. During his peak in the 90s, he had one of the best bodies in the sport. Even today, despite his age being 55, he maintains his physique. However, Sharpe advocates not pushing your body over the limit, like Johnson.

Fans got a glimpse of Sharpe’s strength in August 2022. The 54-year-old took to social media to showcase his benching skills. He benched 365 pounds for six reps. According to him, he could bench 470 pounds during his peak playing days. However, due to injuries, Sharpe had to stop benching heavy weights.

Johnson, on the other hand, is a beast when it comes to bench pressing. If the reports by BenchPress.net are to be believed, The Rock can bench 450 pounds for one rep. While this is 85 pounds more than what Sharpe can do, let’s not forget The Rock is four years younger than Sharpe. So, in conclusion, this could be called a tie. But how exactly does the Hollywood star keep himself in peak condition?

How does Dwayne Johnson keep in shape at this age?

Johnson is somebody who loves working out when he’s not working. According to Men’s Health magazine, The Rock works out six days a week at his home gym. He calls it “The Iron Paradise.”

Among the practices The Rock loves incorporating are supersets and working till it hurts. He also loves using 120-pond chains while working to increase his strength. Johnson, thanks to his Samoan blood, is gifted in the field of strength and can do things ordinary people cannot at his age.
