For months now, WWE has been eyeing the idea of involving Rhea Ripley in the men’s actions. Just like Chyna, Beth Phoenix, and Nia Jax, fans have wanted to see Ripley beat up male wrestlers given her dominance in the ring. She checks well in the physical section and in the charisma level, she’s already proven herself in that sphere time and again.

At WWE Payback, not only did these fans get what they wanted, but also Ripley truly showcased that she could hang with the boys and shock the fans. She also proved that the fans will also be behind her when if she does go for the men’s championships and achievements in the future.

In the tag team titles match at WWE Payback, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn faced numerous external threats while fighting Finn Balor and Damian Priest. From Dominik Mysterio to JD McDonough, everyone pitched in, but the advantage truly kicked in when Ripley came out of nowhere to hit a spear through the barricade to Owens, taking the champion out of the equation.
