In the last few years, Logan Paul has gone from being just a celebrated YouTuber to having his own business and dazzling pro wrestling fans with his athleticism. While he’s yet to be WWE’s number one guy, the 28-year-old has shut many of his naysayers with his pro wrestling prowess. And not just the WWE, Paul has also dabbled in boxing. While his record inside the ring is not as good as his brother, Jake Paul, The Maverick has a bout scheduled for October. But ahead of that, he took a jibe at UFC legend Conor McGregor, exposing the latter’s insecurities.

But why is Logan Paul stating a beef with The Notorious? Is he eyeing a UFC stint as well? Not really. But here’s the story involving the two.

It gained steam after the 35-year-old Irish MMA legend stated his support for Danis. Not only that, he also spoke about training his fellow MMA peer. This led to Logan Paul placing a $1 million bet on the match.

He also shared a meme featuring SpongeBob SquarePants, through which he tried to expose the unsure nature of McGregor’s prediction.

The said meme showed a jacked-up SpongeBob in one frame. The caption: “McGregor Guaranteeing Dillon wins” accompanied it.” Another frame features SpongeBob peeking through a window, visibly scared. This carries the caption: “McGregor when asked to bet $1M on it.”

While the fight is still close to two months away, both camps have started the mind games, taking shots at one another. Meanwhile, Danis overstepped the personal boundary by dragging Logan Paul’s fiancé, Nina Agdal, into their pre-match banter.

But he has also set a bizarre dare to Paul before the fight.

After fiancé, Danis targets Logan Paul’s wedding

El Jefe has asked Logan Paul to make changes to his wedding plans if the former wins the bout. Danis, who is confident about winning the fight, said if he wins, Paul will have to make him the best man at his wedding.

Paul and Agdal announced their engagement on July 9. The couple is yet to get married. It is likely that the event will take place after Paul’s second professional boxing match. He had lost the previous bout to KSI, his business partner and fellow YouTube star.

Danis’ challenge might keep him motivated to win the match and keep things as planned for his wedding. Also, his loss would allow Conor McGregor to amplify his rants. A win, however, would serve both the MMA stars a slice of humble pie.
