Particularly, his upcoming movie, The Smashing Machine.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson has created a lot of hype for his MMA legend biopic where he will star as Mark Kerr. The Rock recently added another post on social media where he declared a spectacular new addition to the cast. However, this led to a former MMA journalist reaching the comments of Johnson’s post. In fact, the journalist also revealed his expectations from The Rock since he has already met and interviewed the real Mark Kerr.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson declared the addition of Emily Blunt to the cast of The Smashing Machine. The duo already has a dedicated fanbase after their blockbuster film, Jungle Cruise. 

While the post worked perfectly in generating even more hype and attention for the film, the Hollywood star is now on the radar of veteran MMA journalist Luis Cruz.

Commenting on the post, Luis Cruz said, “I had the pleasure of speaking to @markkerrtsm when I was an MMA journalist numerous times. He’s an absolute gentleman and his story is a roller coaster ride so this will be good. He was a beast but very respectful.” However, since he knew Mark Kerr as well, he laid out a specific requirement for The Rock to match Kerr’s character. Cruz noted, “You better look like you did in Pain and Gain to mimic that monster 😂.” Dwayne The Rock Johnson responded in the comments and said, “A rare combo of the beast and gentle loving human. Yes, I have my work cut out for me :)”

While Luis Cruz demanded a specific physical look and personality from The Rock, it may not be very difficult for him to replicate it.
