Kevin Nash Reveals Shocking Reason Why Scott Hall Was “Pi**Ed” at Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan was the ultimate baby face in WWE for around two decades. WWE, in Hogan’s time, went outside the North American border and was popular worldwide. Hogan was considered as an American Hero in WWE. 

However, Hogan left WWE in 1992 and joined WCW. There he was pushed as the top good guy in the company, but it didn’t match his previous success. Hogan joined nWo and turned heel, following which he became much more popular.

Hulk Hogan, when he joined WCW, asked for creative control in the company. The contract was signed by the Hulkster after both the parties agreed upon the same terms. However, Hogan’s creative control was not liked by many superstars in the latter part of WCW.

Recently, on Peacock’s new WWE docuseries EVIL Kevin Nash, a more insight on the creative control of Hogan. People also saw some parts of it by the fans on Monday Night Nitro in the final years of WCW.

Kevin Nash said, “Scott and I were pi**ed at his creative control. It was very hard because the golden one would walk in at 5:15 at a 8 o’ clock start and go,(Imitating Hulk Hogan) “Brother that doesn’t work for me”. F**k you.”

He also added, “You know like wow really man, ok what does? Do you have an idea ? You don’t have an idea and that doesn’t works for you. So we are just working around it.”

Vince McMahon wouldn’t have given creative control to anyone and still doesn’t give it to any superstars in the roster. Hulkster was happy in WWE, but he wanted total creative control at Vince’s company.

However, after joining Ted Turner’s company, Hogan got what he wanted. It was also said that giving wrestlers too much creative control was also responsible for the downfall of WCW TV ratings.

Vince McMahon made Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall sit till late night

Kurt Angle in his show also said how Vince took his revenge with the NWO. Vince made them sit for the pre tapes till late. Angle said, “They came back, the first night they were there. Vince messed with them. Big time.”

All the NWO members were doing pre-tapes till 3 O’clock in the morning. Vince pushed the pre-tapes schedule and made them do it over and over. The NWO still will be a legendary team that changed the business. Be it in WWE or WCW, they were so over with the fans.
