Cody Rhodes‘ main event match during Night Two of WrestleMania XL was rumored to have many guest appearances. The first one was revealed as soon as the superstar’s entrance theme started playing. Fans saw Brandi Rhodes standing at the start of the ramp to cheer up her husband. But what does her appearance mean?

During Ariel Helwani’s MMA Hour, Cody Rhodes talked about the potential of a family member returning to WWE at WrestleMania XL. Some fans speculated that it might be Dustin Rhodes, returning to protect his younger brother, However, the person in question during the interview was his wife, Brandi Rhodes. While talking to Helwani, his words hinted at the fact that even if the former wrestler returned to Mania this year, it would be just for the PLE.

“Uh, I do think you will see Brandi, okay… at WrestleMania,” confessed the new WWE Universal Champion while talking to Helwani a few days before the Philadelphia show. This indicated that even if Cody’s wife returned, she may not go beyond Mania.

So, it appears that Brandi hasn’t signed a long-term deal with WWE yet. However, there have been no recent reports about her potential future. She was seen twice during the match. Once when Rhodes was entering the arena, and lastly, when she came in to celebrate the moment of Cody Rhodes’ victory.

Brandi Rhodes’ presence wasn’t the only thing that fans noticed about The American Nightmare’s entry during the main event on Night Two. His attire grabbed a lot of attention online.

The babyface’s character is completely opposite to that of Homelander from the popular comic book and Prime TV series, The Boys. However, one thing that is majorly common between their attires is the American flag. The outfit tonight included a cape with the American flag on it, while the rest of the attire wasn’t left out either. We noticed heavy decorations on and around the shoulders—a glorifying outfit that seemed like a subtle homage to the narcissistic villain from The Boys.

This led to many fans commenting about the same thing online. While it may or may not have been connected to Homelander in any way, it was nonetheless an outfit that suited Cody Rhodes.
