WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes is all set to headline WrestleMania once again. This time, he will be a part of the final act on both Night One and Night Two of WrestleMania XL. However, the buildup for The American Nightmare’s position has been quite brutal, especially with how Dwayne Johnson recently thrashed him backstage in Chicago.

Barring the time The Final Boss caught Cody Rhodes off-guard, he has had quite an amazing #RoadToWrestleMania so far. Interestingly, The American Nightmare has also been getting a lot of support from his family for Mania, like all the recent PLEs he has participated in. Moreover, he recently revealed that the 40th anniversary of Mania will also have a key Rhodes family member by his side.

Cody Rhodes recently got entangled in several altercations with Dwayne Johnson. Most of these conflicts were centered around family, with The Rock slapping Rhodes for his family, and Rhodes hitting the equalizer for the same. However, his latest appearance at the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani saw the revelation of some positive news.

The MMA journalist and analyst asked Cody Rhodes about his wife, Brandi, and if she would be part of WrestleMania XL. Answering the question, Rhodes said, “I wouldn’t want her, you know, (get involved in the ring since) wrestling is violent, no matter how you look at it. Uh, I wouldn’t want her to be in that harm’s way.” But, The American Nightmare also didn’t deny that she would be at Mania.

“But I do think… this is a little scoop, the final stop of the day. Uh, I do think you will see Brandi, okay… at WrestleMania,” Cody Rhodes noted. Thus, the pro wrestling power couple can be back together in the same arena, once again, and that too after a really long time! Previously, Brandi Rhodes also threw shade at Johnson, back when her husband had slapped The Rock.

Apparently, the Great One had crossed a line and insulted Cody Rhodes’ brother, Dustin Rhodes, during a promo where all Night One main eventers were present. Now, Brandi Rhodes will stand strong beside The American Nightmare as he faces The Final Boss at WrestleMania XL.

Will The American Nightmare be able to finish his story this time?

Dwayne Johnson has breached all barriers in his beef with Cody Rhodes. While backstage sneak attacks aren’t new in WWE or pro wrestling, The Rock is going the extra mile and threatening Rhodes’ folks as well. On the other hand, Rhodes has shown that he brings sufficient merit to the ring to tackle The Final Boss.

Cody Rhodes had the highest win rate in the entire WWE locker room in 2023, managing to emerge victorious in almost all his matches. Significantly, the few losses he took were a result of interference. The Final Boss got the better of him backstage, but he won’t be able to make sneak attacks at WrestleMania.
