Animal Crossing: New Horizons has seen a huge fall as compared to other popular games in the community this year. However, many players who love New Horizons still hope that Nintendo will soon release a big update. There are tons of complaints from users and one is that villagers’ dialogues are kind of dull in ACNH.

Indeed, there are a variety of villagers’ dialogues in previous Animal Crossing titles that Nintendo should try to adapt for New Horizons. Interestingly, it secretly added a few villagers’ dialogues that not many players know about. This could be a sign that the developers are trying to improve on users’ complaints secretly.

Nintendo updated villagers’ dialogue in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Several players think that villagers in ACNH don’t have much to say, which makes them plain and boring. The developers updated their dialogues this year, which now makes them pretty much interesting than usual. These dialogues are not related to events that usually Nintendo updates, and we can see these dialogues on a daily basis.

You might have noticed Isabelle saying new things every morning. Although many players think her talks are a bit redundant, it’s impressive that developers added more dialogues for other villagers as well. Furthermore, not all users know that there are some secret dialogues in the game. The thing is many dialogues in ACNH are situational; moreover, it depends on users’ outfits, items, and the time of the year.

This phenomenon of villagers’ dialogue is new to New Horizons as in previous titles. It was easy to get all kinds of dialogues at once. However, it would be rude to say that Nintendo didn’t improve villagers in New Horizons.

Especially the AI in ACNH seems more realistic and makes them feel more alive. You can see them moving around your island and doing their regular stuff while carrying their favorite items. Naturally, it’s disappointing that Nintendo just let down players in terms of villagers’ dialogues, but it has added a lot more into the game.
