Roger Federer hung up the racket last year and saddened millions of fans around the world. However, the Swiss maestro is about to return in a different professional capacity. He is about to serve his fans a smashing new venture as a fashion designer. In an exciting collaboration with renowned designer JW Anderson, Federer is set to launch a fashion collection he worked on with his sponsor. 

This is not the first time Federer will participate in a collaboration to launch a new line of fashion products. Earlier in 2022, the 20-time grand slam champion revealed the partnership of his RF logo and Uniqlo. But this time, Federer will be a member of the design team as well.

Roger Federer announces new major venture

The new venture undertaken by Uniqlo and Federer is not just another celebrity-endorsed fashion venture. Federer has been an ambassador for the Japanese apparel brand Uniqlo. This new venture will take their collab to an entirely new level. The Swiss Maestro is already a fashion icon. Now, he will take his expertise in the field to a new position. 

The forthcoming collection will not only feature Federer but also iconic designer JW Anderson. Federer is known for his impeccable style on and off the court. As the look of the apparel was revealed, it was clear that Federer bought his finesse to design the clothes as well. As per the official Uniqlo website, the apparel will be available for purchase in stores from 28th August. 

Beyond the buzz, this venture shows a new era in Federer’s career since retirement. His $300 million sponsorship with Uniqlo is paying off, as the two are reaching new heights together.

The collab of the RF Logo and Uniqlo

Federer and the Japanese apparel brand joined forces in 2018. Since then, the Swiss Maestro flaunted their clothes on tennis tours. In 2022, their partnership went a step ahead as Uniqlo revealed a T-shirt that donned the RF logo. The eight-time Wimbledon champion was excited about the new venture and showed his gratefulness to the brand.
