Nick Kyrgios hasn’t been part of any on-court battles as he hasn’t yet made an appearance on the ATP Tour. However, his war of words with current and past players has continued. In its most recent installment, Kyrgios took a dig at German tennis great Boris Becker.
On Wednesday, Nick Kyrgios posted a throwback picture on social media, from an edition of the Laver Cup. His caption read, “Different breed.” Still unhappy with Kyrgios over their recent feud, Boris replied to the post, and said, “In your dreams.”
The Aussie player did not take lightly to this. He slammed Becker and even claimed that the former player would never be as influential as him. “Hating like a little groupie. Lingering around like a bad smell, maybe hoping to get more likes and follows. Unfortunately never be as influential,” Kyrgios replied.

The feud between Kyrgios and Becker has already seen many exchanges. It all started during the lockdown when Kyrgios criticized Alexander Zverev and other players who were part of the Adria Tour event. In response to this, Becker called Kyrgios a ‘rat’ and said that Kyrgios should look in the mirror first.
Kyrgios then called Becker a ‘doughnut’ and criticized him further. Becker later blasted Kyrgios’ decision to skip the US Open 2020.
