Ahead of the US Open, everyone had their own predictions about who they wanted to see win the title in New York. However, one such prediction came true. Before the tournament, Nick Kyrgios predicted Alcaraz would win the title. Now that Carlos Alcaraz has indeed won the US Open, the Australian star took to social media to remind his fans about his accurate prognosis.

Kyrgios couldn’t move past the quarter-finals, as Karen Khachanov defeated him in a gripping five-set quarter-final match. As for his doubles campaign, he couldn’t advance past the third round with his partner and compatriot, Thanasi Kokkinakis. Kyrgios will be seen competing at the Tokyo Open in early October after a disappointing US Open.
