Novak Djokovic recently won his 18th Grand Slam at the Australian Open 2021. Facing the World No.4 in Daniil Medvedev in the finals, the Serbian legend completely dominated the match and successfully defended his Australian Open title. The final scoreline of the match was 7-5, 6-2, 6-2.
Many experts and fans claimed that Daniil Medvedev might upset Novak Djokovic in the finals. They talked about the transition in tennis and how a takeover is happening in the sport from the ‘Big Three’ to the next-gen superstars.
However, both Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic recently proved that they were still dominating the sport. Serena Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou also believes the same and expressed his opinion on Twitter.
