Notably, the tournament was an absolute entertainer, with stars like Novak Djokovic, Andrey Rublev, Andy Murray, and many others going to battle.
Despite the end of the enriching tournament, tennis entertainment continues. In a newly emerged video, young and old tennis stars pick their ATP Tour gymnast for a hypothetical yet fun crossover. Courtesy of his flexibility and wide range of cover, Novak Djokovic was among the favorite picks for many. However, the World No. 1 had picked another name himself.

Djokovic is Mr. Flexible
With immense strength, endurance, and conditioning, Novak was sure to be the favorite. From the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas to Dominic Thiem, the majority picked the Serbian.
Naming him, Dominic Thiem said, “My number one choice is Novak.” Even recently crowned gold medalist, Andrey Rublev was among the many who chose Novak to win the crossover. He said, “Novak, and I think everyone will say the same.”

It devastated the Serbian, as his dreams of a possible Golden Slam were finished. However, bronze was still up for play as Novak next faced Pablo Carreno Busta.
As the world tuned in to witness Novak get his hands on yet another accolade, Pablo re-wrote the script for the evening. He beat Novak in straight sets, winning his first Olympic medal. The world watched in disbelief as Novak went to the ground, breaking racquets and throwing a few others.

Sadly, his Olympic journey had come to an end as he further withdrew from his mixed-doubles Bronze medal game. Shockingly, the 20-time Grand slam champion had returned home empty-handed.
