Maria Sharapova Makes a Priceless Donation to Rafael Nadal Academy

Rafael Nadal is not only famous for his phenomenal gameplay but also for his noble work. The Spaniard runs a tennis academy that trains youngsters and makes future superstars. The Academy also has a museum, called the ‘Rafa Nadal Museum’ where one can find all of Nadal’s trophies and most of his tennis valuables. Interestingly, Maria Sharapova too contributed a special gift from her side to the museum.
Five-time Grand Slam champion Maria Sharapova is also a part of the museum. She donated one of her autographed outfits that she wore during one of her matches to the museum.

“One year ago today Maria Sharapova retired from tennis! But we still remember her tennis every day at the Rafa Nadal museum,” tweeted the Rafa Nadal Academy’s official Twitter handle.
Rafael Nadal’s museum was surely trying to pay tribute to Maria Sharapova. It was exactly one year ago today when she took retirement from the sport.

Serena Williams also donated a special gift to the museum of Rafael Nadal
Apart from Rafa’s titles, the museum also has various valuables from legends like Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, and even Michael Jordon. In addition to these, tennis queen Serena Williams also gave a special gift to the museum recently.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion Williams donated her red Nike shoes to the museum. They also have Serena’s autograph which surely adds more charm to them.
