After a disappointing exit in last year’s playoffs, the Miami Heat have started this season on the right foot. Currently, second-seeded in the eastern conference, Jimmy Butler led Miami Heat to a stellar start. They have a 7-2 record currently and are above many championship-contending teams like Brooklyn Nets and reigning champions Milwaukee Bucks and Jimmy Butler certainly deserves the credit for that.
Heat faced the Utah Jazz in their last game where the Heat triumphed in a close 3 point game. In the post-game press conference, Jimmy Butler had an interesting hypothetical put forth in front of him. A reporter essentially asked him if he thought his game was in any way similar to how he would play football, possibly in the NFL. And of course, Jimmy Butler had an interesting yet hilarious response. This is what he said.

Jimmy Butler hilariously responds to an NFL comparison question
When the reporter compared Butler’s game to a football-esque situation, he mistakenly said his game reminded him of a tight end. Butler’s reaction showed he did not approve of that. He then explicitly stated, “Don’t do that. Wide Receiver.”
When the reporter clarified his question, Butler added, “Look man, I’ve been telling this guy named Theotis Smith for I don’t know how long now. Like I got the best hands in the league for sure on this team, for sure on this team.”

In the latest update of KIA’s MVP Ladder, they ranked Jimmy Butler third. Hence, combined with the confidence he displays outside the court, he has also delivered on the court. Currently averaging 25 points per game, Butler knows he has the potential to lead the Heat into a deep playoff run.
And with the support of Kyle Lowry and Bam Adebayo, along with the bursting run of form by Tyler Herro, if he continues this effectiveness consistently, the Heat are set to make a run for the title.
