17-time NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers hosted a struggling Orlando Magic side for the 27th game of the season. Many expected the Lakers to dominate from the start. However, the Lakers fell behind the Magic in the 1st quarter by seven points. LeBron James initiated a comeback in the 2nd quarter and since then the Lakers have held a comfortable lead.

James made headlines during the 2nd half of the game with an insane chase-down block and then paid tribute to former NBA star Dikembe Mutombo with his famous finger wag celebration. James is in fine form right now and the block was a testament to his ‘never give up’ attitude.

During the game versus the Magic, we’ve witnessed both sides of him. His insane chase-down block to clear Westbrook‘s mess shows that he means business when the game is on. Moreover, he never wastes an opportunity to have some fun on the court.

However, James led the Lakers from the front against the Magic after they fell 7 points behind in the first quarter.

Despite a poor winning percentage so far, the Lakers have been roaming around the playoff/play-in region. That is because other teams have been massively underperforming.
